Big Tobacco gets caught using ammonia, but continues anyway. Paying off Blue Cross/Blue Shield over $5 billion is just the tip of the iceberg. A summary of Minnesota’s lawsuit against Tobacco: the Big Tobacco companies began adding ammonia compounds to cigarettes in the 1960’s to boost the effect of nicotine on hooking smokers, according to an expert witness in Minnesota’s lawsuit against the tobacco industry. In 1965, scientists at R.J. Reynolds were trying to find out why Winston was losing ground to Philip Morris’ Marlboro brand, and in their research discovered that Marlboro contained ammonia compounds. In the 1970s, Reynolds started adding ammonia and “slowly but surely, everyone fell in line.” By 1990, documents showed that tobacco companies were using more than 10 million pounds of ammonia compounds each year. Researchers at Oregon Health and Science University used a laboratory smoking device to collect and analyze smoke from 11 brands of cigarettes. The study measured the first three puffs of smoke from each cigarette.
“The secret of Marlboro is Ammonia.”
– 1989 Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company report:
Think of how big of a joke “fire safe cigarettes” are now! The safety “rings” or toxic “rungs” are made of an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion based adhesive (carpet glue), which causes severe irritation of mucous membranes and the upper respiratory tract. Symptoms of this damage include a severe burning sensation, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headaches, nausea and vomiting!
“What is clear is that the modern cigarette is a highly engineered nicotine delivery device and it’s not just a matter of tobacco rolled-up in a piece of paper.” In that court case, according to highly cited chemist and researcher James Pankow, “Measurements ranged from about 1% all the way up to 35% free-base nicotine for a specialty US brand.” In his documentation, he explains how the top selling U.S. brands of cigarettes contain the most free-base nicotine. The findings actually help rate the addictiveness of different brands. He also added that “It is likely that ingredients such as ammonia and urea account for this addiction-enhancing effect.” Urea is the chief solid component of mammal urine – synthesized from ammonia and carbon dioxide and used as fertilizer, in animal feed and in plastics. So add animal piss to the cocktail of toxins you can start hating!
Anxiety, nervousness and sickness:
Every smoker and ex-smoker knows that nicotine is the major culprit of the smoking addiction, and they may even know that cigarette manufacturers use ammonia to free-base nicotine to boost it’s addictive hook up to 35 times, but scarce is the man or woman who understands how nicotine functions like a dopamine imposter, raising levels of this “feel good” chemical in the body artificially. Have you ever smelled ammonia? If you have some, take a small sniff. That’s enough to end the habit right there. We are going to get you off of AMMONIA starting today. You see, ammonia treated nicotine also acts as an enabler, widening capillaries, allowing for the rush of the 4,000 plus chemicals in a commercial cigarette to penetrate cells and foster anxiety, nervousness, and sickness. That is the hook. That is the scam.
Dopamine can also raise levels of awareness and general pleasure. However, as dopamine levels increase from the use of cigarettes, natural chemical reactions in the body like dopamine and serotonin decrease their natural production, so when a smoker tries to quit cold turkey, they experience days, weeks, and sometimes months of depression and anxiety, mainly because their dopamine production levels cannot recover quickly enough. Do you understand now? The central nervous system is so accustomed to being nurtured with nicotine.
Escape nicotine forever:
Only 14AndOut gives you this answer. No other cessation program brings you this ultimate insight and the natural remedies that you can buy “over the counter” OTC without a prescription! Replacing nicotine with a natural supplement that boosts dopamine levels ends the cravings! Put simply, nicotine damages dopamine production for smokers, so supplementing the production of dopamine is the ultimate way to help a smoker quit, and quit for good. Even though the smoking habit is also a behavior addiction, the “feel good” drug aspect is stronger and is the driving force for smokers to return to the habit when something stressful comes along, unless they know how to supplement and exactly what to buy!
As we reviewed earlier, the highly under-estimated issue for smokers is that commercial tobacco is “free-based” with ammonia and has been for about 50 years. If you are smoking commercial cigarettes, you’re getting up to 100mg of potency in one cigarette. This alone wrecks the body’s ability to properly regulate dopamine and serotonin levels, balancing the entire process on three fulcrums: the potency of the brand being smoked, how many cigarettes are smoked per day, and at what times of the day. This is why so many smokers grab a cigarette and light it up before or after something stressful, or a situation which requires energy and motivation, like before a job interview or after a heated argument. We’ll delve further into nutrition later on. Right now, let’s talk more about why most other programs fail 95% of the time to keep ex-smokers away from cigarettes for more than 6 months.
